More Fabrics and related companies respect your privacy. This Privacy Statement summarises the way in which your personal information is collected and processed by More Fabrics, depending on your relationship with More Fabrics.

This Privacy Statement was last updated in the light of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which entered into effect on 25 May 2018. More Fabrics processes various personal data depending on your relationship or cooperation with More Fabrics.

1. As the Customer

In the context, or as a result, of our relationship with (potential) customers, we collect the following personal data:

  • Identification and contact details (name, e-mail address, telephone number, address, etc.);
  • Professional data (function, company number);
  • Financial and economic data (payments);
  • Bank details.

2. As a Supplier

As part of the cooperation with our suppliers, we collect the following personal data:

  • Identification and contact details (name, e-mail address, telephone number, address, etc.);
  • Bank details.

3. As an Applicant

More Fabrics restricts itself to collecting the following personal data in the context of applicants:

  • Identification and contact details (name, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.);
  • Professional data (CV, covering letter, evaluations).

4. As a visitor to our websites

When you visit our websites, we will automatically collect some personal data by means of cookies. For this, however, we refer you to the cookie statement on this websites.


Why do we process personal data?

More Fabrics processes personal data for various purposes, depending on your relationship or collaboration with More Fabrics.

1. As the Customer

We collect and process personal data from customers for the following purposes:

  • Providing the services, information, support, etc. you have requested;
  • Processing orders;
  • Maintaining customer relationships;
  • Helping us serve you and offer you personalised features;

2. As a Supplier

We obtain your personal data, which you communicate directly to us. In some cases, we may obtain your personal information from public databases or acquaintances. If this is the case, we will inform you during our first contact as required by law.

3. As an Applicant

We will not share your personal data with any third parties other than those mentioned above without our explicit consent. In addition, we may need to share your personal information for the purpose of investigating illegal activities through our website, possible cases of fraud, possible acts that potentially threaten security in general or the safety of a person, possible violations of the terms of use or to prevent these activities/activities/actions or to take necessary action to stop these activities/actions or to defend us against legal claims. How long do we store your personal data?

More Fabrics undertakes to no longer store your personal data for the purpose for which we have collected them.

1. As the Customer

We will retain customers' personal data for a maximum period of 10 years after the last purchase.

2. As a Supplier

We will retain suppliers' personal data for a maximum period of 10 years after the last order.

3. As an Applicant

We will retain applicants' personal data for a maximum period of one year after the application procedure. If we nevertheless wish to retain your data for a longer period of time, we will ask for explicit permission to do so.


How are your data protected against loss, misuse or accidental manipulation?

In order to protect the information under our control from loss, misuse or accidental manipulation, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to ensure the availability, confidentiality and integrity of your personal information. By way of example, our servers are only accessible to authorised personnel, your personal data are only shared with personnel on a "need to know basis" - solely for the purpose of realising the transaction and providing you with the requested services. In addition, for new projects that may have an impact on your privacy, a comprehensive analysis is carried out to guarantee your rights, the security and protection of your personal data. Should an incident nevertheless occur in which your personal data are involved, you will be notified personally in the circumstances provided for by law.


What possibilities do you have with regard to your rights?

You can change your interests at any time and subscribe or unsubscribe to any marketing or promotional newsletter or mailing. More Fabrics reserves the right to transfer your service-related communications as part of your More Fabrics account, without being able to unsubscribe in this regard. You can change or update your account settings at any time.

If you share your personal data with More Fabrics, you will be granted a number of rights in this respect. More Fabrics respects these rights and puts the transparency and accuracy of your personal data first. You, as an individual, therefore have a right to:

  • Inspection and transferability of your personal data;
  • Adjustment (correction) of your personal data if they are incorrect or incomplete;
  • Temporary (or definitive) restriction on the processing of your personal data*;
  • Deletion of your personal data**;
  • Objecting to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

* When exercising these rights, you should bear in mind that More Fabrics may no longer be able to offer some services. For example, at More Fabrics, you will no longer be able to buy products or you will no longer be able to be contacted for possible vacancies.

** More Fabrics reserves the right to determine whether your request is justified. In addition, in some cases we have to comply with some legal retention periods, which means that we cannot fully comply with your request for data erasure. In that case, we will evaluate which personal data, if any, we can already delete and inform you of this.


If you should have any further complaints about compliance with the privacy statement, you should contact us first. If you subsequently have an unresolved issue that you feel has not been properly addressed by us, please contact the Data Protection Authority.

If you wish to exercise your rights or lodge complaints, please first identify yourself with a copy of the front of your identity card in order to prevent this from being done in your name. We will delete this copy immediately after checking. We also ask you to be as specific as possible so that we can meet your needs in the best possible way. We will always respond to you within the statutory period of 30 days.
